Hey, I'm Brad.

I've spent most of my life on a football sideline in some form or fashion, and just last year, I decided to take up coaching my son — and come to find out, our team won the championship. That season taught me a lot about what it actually takes to build a team worth playing for — but it also showed me just how much of the job has nothing to do with football at all.

Between a group messaging app that half the parents muted, having to manually create my practice plans every day, and a separate app for the league schedule, I was spending more time managing logistics than I was managing players. Inevitably, something fell through the cracks — a player missing practice, a parent who found out about a schedule change a day late, a kid whose development I meant to track more closely and didn't. We made it work — but it worked in spite of our system, not because of it. And it seemed like all of the leagues and coaches around me were building their system from scratch, just like me.

I didn't need another app. I needed all of it — tryouts, practice, communication, and player development — living in one place.

So I built Cheat Code Coaching to solve the exact problems I was living every week: a digital draft board for tryouts instead of paper notes, a practice builder with a fully loaded drill library instead of a notebook, a team chat and parent portal that replaces the group text, and weekly tasks for each player that let you tailor how you're developing each kid on the roster when they're not at practice.

This isn't a product built by a software company that's never coached a snap. It's built by a coach, for coaches — the same people running practice on a Tuesday night, trying to remember which parent still needs the permission slip, and wondering if there's a better way to do this. There is. I use it with my own team every week.
